How Prepglot handles information when you use our app and website.

Information used to run your interview
We process the role, experience level, language, job description and notes you provide, your voice during live interviews, transcripts, session metrics and generated feedback. Only share information you have permission to use; avoid confidential employer information and sensitive personal details.
Where information goes
Audio and interview content are processed by OpenAI to conduct interviews and generate reports. Firebase / Google Cloud runs our backend and stores minute balances and session reservations. RevenueCat and Apple process purchase entitlements and transactions. Our installation identifier links your balance and purchases; it is stored in the iCloud-synchronised Keychain and can persist after reinstalling. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Storage and retention
Interview history, transcripts and reports are stored on your device. Our backend processes interview content and keeps balance, transaction and operational records as needed to provide the service, resolve billing issues and prevent abuse. Deleting a local interview does not erase provider logs or purchase records. Provider security logs and legal retention requirements may apply. Contact us to request deletion of service-side information.
Purpose and your choices
We process information to provide interviews, deliver feedback, manage purchases, secure the service and answer support requests. Where applicable, the legal bases are performance of our service agreement, legitimate interests in security and support, legal obligations and consent where required. You can revoke microphone permission, delete local interviews, and request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability as applicable to your location. You may also object, withdraw consent or complain to your data protection authority.
Website and support
This website has no advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Its hosting service may process IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the site. If you email us, we receive your address and message to handle your request. The language is part of the page URL; no tracking cookie is needed. We do not sell your personal information.
Transfers, security and children
Providers may process information outside your country under their applicable safeguards. We use encrypted connections, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Prepglot is not directed at children under 13; local higher age requirements may apply. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
